Bill Abercrombie recently completed a 9-year term as EVP of both Tampa Bay Sports and Entertainment (TBSE) and Tampa Bay Entertainment Properties (TBEP). Abercrombie served numerous roles as EVP including overseeing all brand relationships tying the Tampa Bay Lightning brand, the USF Athletics brands, multiple entertainment venues to 100’s of national /regional brands using the varying TBSE/TBEP platforms to amplify their messages. Abercrombie accomplished this by utilizing multiple marketing platforms such as television, radio, print, social channels, OTT channels, in arena and out of home digital advertising, on site activations, market-wide promotions and community engagements. These numerous brand relationships played a key role in the Tampa Bay Lightning being named the number one franchise in all of professional sports by ESPN. 

On a personal level Bill has been engaged in numerous Tampa Bay area initiatives such as serving on the board of Feeding Tampa Bay, founding board member of the Vinik Sports and Entertainment program at USF and as a Sun Dome/Yuengling Center board representative. Bill was also named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 25 Executives to watch in 2018. Bill currently resides in South Tampa with his wife Cameron (Veterinarian at Tampa Veterinary Hospital) and two children Sara Beth (9th grade at Plant High School) and William (4th grade at Roosevelt Elementary).
